Amazing Fact:  Out of 3225 secondary schools in England, two Focus schools fell within the top 100 schools for their GCSE results.  Focus School Bramley 56th (Sheffield/Doncaster) and Focus School Coventry 69th.

We have no doubt that we have the ability in our campus to reach that goal.  We want to focus on a very important contributing factor which is to develop a culture of respect.   Whilst there is some very good practice seen in the school, sadly there are reports of ongoing negative student to student respect.  We want to build on the positive! It is proven that a school with a culture of respect is critical for creating an excellent learning environment and for bringing out the best results in each student.

Quote: Respectful schools are, by definition, democratically informed learning
environments where people feel safe, supported, engaged, and helpfully challenged
and students are supported and inspired to succeed in a culture of high expectations for
learning.

We would urge all to pull together to ensure that every child has the right environment to fulfil their potential and we are all supporting each other.
